I volunteered during this festival and was so impressed by how much fun it was and how appreciative everyone was of the opportunity to be at a music festival again, and by how cooperative everyone was with the safety rules. It was an awesome success!!!

Everyone should be double-masking and have to provide proof of vaccination to attend!

If the photo of the opening Met gala tells one anything it is this. No masks for the attendees of the 30,000 dollar ticket event. Only waitstaff have to be masked. Without the comment section Sierra Wave loses its touch with the community.

In two weeks they won’t have to worry about us peasants commenting on their biased articles. They will have total control of the narrative, as designed.

If your going to the festival, go along with the rules and don’t whine, it is only for a few days. We’re outside in the best place on earth to be so make a pleasant time of it. Thanks, be safe, healthy and don’t play with matches.

Well, assuming you actually want an answer: 1) the Arts Council doesn’t have the resources to verify everyone’s Vax status as they enter 2) vaccinated folks can still acquire and transmit the virus even though they are lass likely to die from it than they would have otherwise. 3) most… Read more »

Not sure how following public health requirements equates with genocide, so yes, shut up and do the right thing. Masks and vaccinations are not a Holocaust equivalent.

I wouldn’t believe much of what government says. They told us for years how much “progress” we were making in Afghanistan, and Biden, Fauci, and Pelosi all within the last few months told us there would be no vaccine mandates. Not that it isn’t useful to listen to the charlatans,… Read more »

Thank you Arts Council for creating a local festival to celebrate world music ! And thank you many times over for all the planning and precautions it must have taken to do so in the midst of an ongoing pandemic. Looking forward to this event.

With respect a reasonable question Supe. I guess you got the jab(s) for the same reason we all did . Primarily it was to protect ourselves from a serious covid infection illness and the possibility of dearth. Back in Feb March when many of us got the Pfizer at the… Read more »
