Sierra Wave Media is announcing the retirement of Charles James as our News Director effective July 31, 2021. Charles joined the Sierra Wave Media family in February 2020 as the station’s News Director. Prior to becoming the News Director, Charles provided articles as a freelance writer to Sierra Wave Media as well as other local media. Charles has worked tirelessly over the past 17 months to produce stories five days a week for our on-air newscasts as well as our website, sierrawave.net. He will now have more time to spend with his family but Charles has said he will continue to provide us with articles as time allows. As we say “goodbye” to Charles as our News Director, we will long remember his stories about his Red Cross and Lifeguard days and the other positions he has held over the years.
Sierra Wave Media wishes Charles James the best in his well deserved retirement. Thank you Charles.

So glad he retired, he used this forum as his own mouth piece for liberal leaning opinions, definitely a far cry from Bennet Kesslers days.
