The curtain is set to rise on the Playhouse 395 production of Mamma Mia! this Friday April 26.    The show will be performed the last weekend in April and the first two weekends in May at the Bishop Union High School Auditorium.

Mamma Mia! is the ultimate feel-good show that has audiences coming back again and again to relive the thrill.   Now it’s your turn to have the time of your life at the smash-hit musical that brings to life the greatest hits of ABBA including Dancing Queen, Super Trouper and Take a Chance on Me.

Today in Bishop, actors are polishing their solos, choral numbers and amazing full stage dance routines, the pit orchestra is fine-tuning their accompaniment, and final touches are being made to the set featuring a Taverna on the Greek island of Kalokairi.    Those who come to the show will be transported to that special island for a few hours of pure fun, heartwarming and up-lifting entertainment.

Mamma Mia! is an enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship.  Whether it’s your 1^stor 10^th time, don’t miss the show that has world-wide audiences coming back for more.  Reserved seats are almost gone for some of the shows, but there are great General Admission seats available for those who arrive early.

Tickets can also be purchased at the Theater Box Office at the high school starting one hour before the start of the show, unless it is sold out.

This year Whiskey Creek Restaurant is partnering with Playhouse 395 with a Special Dinner for patrons with Mamma Mia! tickets.  If you go to Whiskey Creek for dinner before an evening show or after a matinee, and show them your Mamma Mia! tickets for that day, you will have the opportunity to order a full dinner including soup or salad, rolls, drink and dessert (a choice of three different entrees.)  Adults $35 and kids $20.  This could be a great addition to your theater-going experience!  For more information about this offer please call 760-873-7777.
