KEELER STAGE 1 HEALTH ADVISORY

Based on air pollution levels at 1:00 PM PDT on May 25, 2012 a Stage 1 Air Pollution Health Advisory has been issued for the community of Keeler. Due to elevated particulate pollution levels, children, the elderly, people with heart or lung problems, or people with current illnesses such as the flu, are advised to stay indoors and avoid strenuous outdoor activities in the dust-impacted area. If you have any questions please call the Great Basin Air Pollution Control District office in Bishop at 760-872-8211.

Dust has been around since the dawn of time. It contains important minerals that your body needs. To say otherwise is just plain silly.

We are the government of one of the largest cities in the United States. We know what is best.

The reason why you don’t have floods in your area is because we remove the water to prevent floods. You should be thankful.

We are your friends and distant neighbors. Trust us. We know what we are doing here. We have been doing it for decades.
