Synopsis – Mon Sep 16 2024

An upper level low will move thru N. Nevada today, bringing cooler weather, widespread rain showers (20 – 40%) to the Owens Valley and rain / snow showers (70%) to Mammoth today. That system kicks out Tuesday, but is quickly followed by another system later Tuesday into Wednesday. Again widespread precipitation is expected across our region, with snow levels over Mammoth at 9,300 feet. Cooler than average temps continue thru the remainder of the work week, with warming and drying Friday thru the weekend…DMATT
