Today and Wednesday the Owens Valley will be under a Moderate Heat Risk, as strong high pressure expands across the desert SW. Eventually that high pressure will settle over the 4-Corners region. This pattern will result in a “Heat Wave” from Thursday into the upcoming weekend, with heat peaking Friday / Saturday. So by Saturday Bishop can expect 106° (10 degrees above normal), with Mammoth in the low 80s…DMATT
