Synopsis – TUE AUG 04 2026

Ongoing prolonged triple digit heat wave is still on tap this week for the Owens Valley. Overnight lows will be in the mid 60s, offering little relief from the heat. Typical afternoon breezes with some smoke and haze from the various fires in the Intermountain West. All of this and a Heat Advisory is in effect most of the week. Right now at least, Monsoon moisture looks to stay well to our East for ongoing dry conditions ..DMATT
