Synopsis – WED AUG 12 2026

Dominant high pressure has shifted East. Along with this, a weak cut off low off the coast will provide additional moisture (PWs 1.0″ – 1.2″), particularly over higher terrain. This action will provide a better chance of afternoon showers and t-storms today thru late week. This mid week moisture surge will provide widespread cooling. Bishop by Friday will see a high of only 88°, some 5° below average…DMATT
