OLANCHA — Caltrans District 9 has closed both lanes of U.S. 395 just south of Olancha due to an incident on the highway involving a big rig. The closure stretches from the intersection of Sage Flats Road to Walker Creek Road. Crews are working to remove the vehicles from the highway, but there is currently no estimated time for when U.S. 395 will reopen.
