A trial date has been set for a Marine Sergeant arrested in February on child molestation charges. The Marine was stationed at Pickel Meadows and also coached kids in Walker.

25-year-old Cody Carlisle remains in the County Jail, on charges that include attempted unlawful intercourse, two counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14, two counts of child molestation, and two counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child aged 14 or 15.

The Mono Sheriffs Department had not said how many alleged victims there are or the sex of the alleged victims. At the time of the arrest, Carlisle was a sergeant in the Marines assigned to the Mountain Warfare Training Center near Sonora Pass. Carlisle is also reported to be the Assistant Coach to the Walker High School Football team, according to Mono Sheriff officials.

Carlisle is set to be in court Tuesday for a settlement conference. At last word, the trial date was set for August 23.
