Damn teenagers!
The question I have is with technology (not the knuckleheads cuz they’re probably visitors that are long gone and laughing all the way). With the incredible and basically inexpensive technology available to day (like go pro, etc.) why are these images sooo bad! Just a question!
When it comes to security camera’s there’s a wide range in quality and price.
SW— Can you request the police provide you with higher res photos that we can download if we are so inclined. I can’t see anything in the ones they are giving you now. I know they’re screen grabs from video but something a little bigger might be helpful
Gosh,is it just me,or does it seem fairly easy to bundle up with winter clothes and not have to pay for them in Mammoth? Please tell me these 3 guys didn’t come in together and were able to walk in,and walk out with merchindise…without paying for it.More than once,I have worked retail sales in my life, and I’m sure people stole while I was on my shift. But ,usually,I’m willing to bet it was just one person at a time, and probably when I was busy….but whenever I saw 3 guys come into the store, and start lurking around, like it looks like these guys were doing,it set off a red flag, and I would keep my eye on them, even if I was busy with other customers.Don’t they got those tags up there on clothing like most stores do,that are taken off by the cashier when something is being rung up on the register,or if someone tries to walk out without paying,as soon as they get near the front door alarms go off?
There are ways of taking off those tags very easily. They only stop the casual thief.
People that do that Wayne, are pretty good at what they do .. from what I see. These guys are professionals.
Big Al…From the photos, they don’t look too professional to me….The guy in the white t-shirt,he’s looking over his shoulder, seeing if anyone is watching…something a thief should not do,bringing suspicion to himself…The guy in the plaid hoodie,he’s got a bag with him, walking through the store…something the employee should not have allowed, and, again, something a thief does not do to bring on suspicion to himself.Looks like the guy in the t-shirt,in photo #3 either is gonna try on his new coat, and if so,judging from photo# 2,he’s either wearing the new coat out of the store,or carrying it out,and the black coat is the one he wore into the store. ..And like I said in my previous post, these guys seem to be sneaking, and lurking around, and not looking like buyers at all…IMO….When I was working retail, once guys looking like this walked into the store,my eyes would have been on them untill they walked out the front door. And if I allowed customers to shop with a bag they brought in with them,I would have lost my job.
