Stars, Stripes & Floats

ab27a203 251b ef0f 6a64 47c203a9affd

The 2025 4th of July Parade, presented by our Title Sponsor High Country Lumber (HCL), kicks off this Friday at 11am. We are also grateful to Mammoth Lakes Tourism and to the Town of Mammoth Lakes for their event support and to our Uncle Sam sponsors Cerro Coso Career Technical Education and Lagrimas Tequila.

Parade Grand Marshals Chris Benchetler and Kimmy Fasani will be leading the way with almost 50 parade entries—so put on your stars and stripes and come cheer everyone on.

Want to be a float judge? We’re still looking for a few awesome volunteers to watch the parade, score the floats as they pass by and help decide who will take home the $500 prize for Best Float sponsored by Mammoth Holistics.

VIP Tent Tickets Almost Sold Out: Only a few tickets remain for the Chamber’s VIP Parade Party, sponsored by Destination Real Estate and hosted by Outbound Mammoth.

Hooray. No Spray. In past years, it’s been an unofficial tradition for spectators and parade participants to spray water or toss water balloons—but it’s become a real safety concern. So, we’re asking everyone to help us keep it safe: please don’t throw water balloons or spray water at parade floats.

Tired of Talking About Housing?

Then take the survey and say something that counts–and do it now. We all know housing—or the lack of it—affects businesses, workers, and families across the region. That’s why we’re strongly encouraging you to take the time and participate in the Eastern Sierra Housing Study by completing the Employer Survey and sharing the Resident & Workforce Survey with your employees. All responses are confidential and the survey takes about 15 minutes to complete.
