Synopsis – FRI JUL 03 2026

The troughing pattern which has dominated our weather thru the beginning of the week, will slowly weaken over the weekend. It will be replaced by high pressure over Mexico / 4-corners, returning into the area Saturday and Sunday. With that, the air mass will begin to dry out and warm up. So our temps will finally reach above normal by Independence Day, with low RH. So Bishop is looking at 97° then. So all this is just in time for a Great 4th of July! Please remember to avoid activities that could create sparks, as we are still in Elevated Fire Risk conditions…DMATT
