WHY would anyone give the above comment a thumbs down ? Explain !
Rick….It’s probably one of those that like to “blame” the ones that get injured or lost…or worse…out here in the high country…saying it’s their own fault for whatever reason…with this one maybe saying he shouldn’t be hiking alone…and probably thinking, because of his decision to do so,and getting hurt and in need of assistance,he should be “charged” for the search and/or rescue.
Good luck getting a rational explanation Rick. That would require thought and effort. It’s much easier to give an anonymous “thumbs down” and/or offer a snide comment under a made up screen name(s).
OK, OK, I’m sorry! My big fingers and small phone sure get you up at arms.
Hiker was found near the base of Gaddard with a broken leg, but otherwise alive and well. Be careful on (or avoid) solo adventures and always leaved a detailed itinerary.
It was recently discovered that he signed the summit register on Mt. Goddard, so this will narrow the search. Worth noting if readers are in this area.
