This week Bishop Sunrise Rotary was fortunate to welcome the California High School Rodeo Queen Court to the club. Bernadette Lovato, the president of Bishop Sunrise Rotary said, “It’s always nice to see smart, poised, young ladies making a difference in their communities!” Our growing club fosters future leaders, creates positive change in our community, and lends a hand to people in need at home and beyond our borders. Wake up and join us! For more info, please visit www.bishopsunriserotary.org.

I demand close up photos of the rodeo queens!.
Decades ago I was infatuated by the sight of a gorgeous young woman wearing tight jeans and a cowboy hat; now I look at rodeo queens and ask: “Why not a grizzled lean guy to represent the real cowpunchers who rode the range?”
Seriously, who’s the old dude posing to the left?
