The County of Inyo is looking to fill numerous vacancies this winter on several boards, committees, and commissions.

Letters of interest are currently being accepted for positions on the Big Pine Cemetery District, the Bishop Rural Fire Protection District, the Inyo Fish & Wildlife Commission, the Child Care Planning Council, Eastern Sierra Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council, and the Inyo County Water Commission.

Appointments to fill the vacancies will be made by the Board of Supervisors.

Submissions must be received no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, December 15 (postmarks are not accepted) for the following:
Inyo County Fish & Wildlife Commission
• Unexpired four-year term for an alternate, ending October 6, 2025

Submissions must be received no later than 5 p.m. Friday, December 16 (postmarks are not accepted) for the following:
Big Pine Cemetery District Board
• One unexpired four-year term ending June 30, 2026
• Unexpired four-year term ending November 1, 2026
Bishop Rural Fire Protection District Board
• One unexpired four-year term ending July 1, 2026
Inyo County Water Commission
• Two unexpired four-year terms ending December 31, 2026
• One unexpired four-year term ending December 31, 2023

Submissions must be received no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 21 (postmarks are not accepted) for the following:
Eastern Sierra Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council
• One unexpired two-year term for a family caregiver from Inyo or Mono counties, ending December 31, 2023

Child Care Planning Council
• One unexpired three-year term for a community representative, ending November 4, 2024
• One unexpired three-year term in the “Discretionary” category, ending November 4, 2024
