We had earlier posted the news, as reported in the Sacramento Bee, that Jordan Herbst, 14, of Bishop survived the often deadly hantavirus. Now, the UC Davis Health System, where Jordan ultimately was hospitalized, has documented the teenager’s story. Jordan’s mother, Katharine Allen, said the State Dept. of Health has been up here trapping. Nothing definite yet.

The miracles of modern medicine are amazing. Glad to hear that young Jordan is doing well and expected to have a complete recovery.
Kudos to all the medical personnel that made the right decisions regarding Jordan’s treatment.
