Northern Inyo Healthcare District showed its appreciation to Dr. Nickoline Hathaway (center) as she retired from 35 years of patient care last Friday. NIHD Board of Directors Chair Robert Sharp presented Dr. Hathaway with a Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of the District. On hand for the presentation were, from left, NIHD’s Chief Medical Officer Joy Engblade, Chair Sharp, Dr. Hathaway, NIHD’s Interim Chief Executive Officer Kelli Davis and NIHD’s Board of Directors member Jean Turner. Dr. Hathaway will continue to lend her expertise to the District in other capacities, particularly the Cardiopulmonary Department reading electrocardiograms and stress tests, following a well-deserved vacation.
