Jeremy Goico is new President of the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce

Mammoth Lakes, Calif. (June 26, 2014) — Jeremy Goico, co-owner of Black Tie Ski Rental Delivery in Mammoth Lakes has recently stepped in as President of the Board of Directors for the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce (MLCC). Goico has served as a MLCC Board member for more than two years.

Goico takes the reins from outgoing President, Jack Copeland. Brent Truax will serve as Goico’s Vice-President.

The young entrepreneur begins his term with three areas of focus for the Chamber: resource, connections/networking, and influence/advocacy. These areas of focus will support the Chamber’s mission of creating a thriving and vibrant four-season business community that is sustainable by providing business resources, networking opportunities, and sound business and political advocacy.

“We can build really great relationships through the Chamber,” Goico said. “It’s all about businesses working together.”

Currently the Chamber is forming committees to better achieve its goals. The committees include membership, finance, service and political action.

Goico has an open door policy and hopes that the business community will contact him with feedback and ideas.

“We’ll be reaching out to the business community and we want to hear back,” he said. “We want to know what we can do for you.”

Goico has been in Mammoth Lakes since August 2009 when he drove into town, sight unseen, with his business partner, and newlyelected Town Council member, Colin Fernie. He has been involved in several organizations in town including the formation of the Mammoth Lakes Young Professionals Group (MLYPG).

You can contact Goico at [email protected].
