Thank you so much for publishing this link to an amazing, informative quick video about the death and rebirth of Owens Lake. I’ve driven by the dustbowl that was a lake hundreds of times since the 1980s. The hard work done by the Audubon local and national groups deserves our thanks. It was David versus Goliath (LA DWP), and all of the people who comprised “David” have won an historic victory. It’s a victory not just for the birds and other wildlife, but for everyone who lives in or visits the spectacular Eastern Sierra.
