MOSQUITO FOGGING EVENT: ASPENDELL

Mosquito Fogging Planned for Aspendell – Friday, June 13, 2025
Mosquito control crews will be fogging areas in Aspendell early Friday morning, June 13. Truck-mounted fogging equipment will be used to reduce high numbers of adult mosquitoes.
Fogging will take place between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM, weather permitting. Operations may be delayed if it’s too windy or cold, as fogging is less effective under those conditions.
Protect Yourself from Mosquito Bites:

  • Wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts, especially during early morning and evening hours.
  • Use an EPA-registered insect repellent. Look for one of these active ingredients:
    • DEET
    • Picaridin
    • IR3535
    • Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus (OLE)\
    • Para-menthane-diol (PMD)
  • Products with a higher concentration of active ingredients offer longer protection. Always read and follow the directions on the label before using any repellent. .
