Mammoth Police Officers decided to do something fun and supportive of the community. They posed Wednesday night as mlpdangel1waiters at Angel’s Restaurant. Their tips and 10% of the dinner proceeds went to Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra. Officer Dan Casabian, who organized the Tip-A-Cop event said, “It was 100% positive for everybody we came in contact with. That mlpdangels2doesn’t happen on a day-to-day basis.”

The atmosphere was electric in Angel’s with standing- room only and smiles all around. It was entertaining to see the police standing at tables with their waiter pads doing what they do best – serve!

Officer Casabian said all told they collected $2,027 for Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra. It’s not too late to donate. You can drop your donations off at the police department on Old Mammoth Road. The police offered special thanks to Alex Printing for the big banner outside Angel’s.
