Memorial Day was saluted by many throughout the country and in Inyo and Mono counties.

Our local congressman – Rep. Paul Cook – was in the Eastern Sierra not only for the Mule Days festivities including the parade – but also for meet and greet sessions in Mammoth Lakes and Bishop.

Rep. Cook also participated in the Big Pine Memorial Day recognition at the Roosevelt tree – Sierra Wave Media’s Deb Murphy was on scene:
