Speaking of Service
One of our members reports the following story:
“I was in Footloose the other morning. I dropped my bike off the night before with two flat tires and a dysfunctional derailleur. Glen said, ‘We’ll have it ready for you tomorrow.’ He called me that night and said, ‘It’s ready to go’ and told me I could pick it up first thing in the morning. When I showed up to pick up the bike, Shirley Seydel approached me with a big smile and a plate of chocolate chip cookies. ‘They aren’t hot out of the oven but I baked them fresh last night. Would you like a cookie?’
“I was blown away. Where does that happen? Where does an employee offer you a homemade chocolate chip cookie and a genuine, cheerful smile? That type of personal, friendly, generous service backed up by technical expertise is a powerful combination. I felt great all day after that start!”
The Chamber of Commerce would like to recognize Shirley Seydel as a Mammoth Ambassador. A person who goes above and beyond the call of duty to provide great service to visitors and residents alike, the kind of service that wins customer loyalty not just for Footloose but for Mammoth. We would also like recognize Footloose as a store where this kind of service is the norm, not the exception.
Mammoth is a place where great service lives. Send us your great service story. We want to celebrate the ambassadors in our midst.
