Bishop Unified School District “Students Supporting Cancer Awareness” campaign to support the Eastern Sierra Cancer Alliance and the Leukemia Lymphoma Society:

The 2-week campaign will kick-off on Monday, March 7th and end on March 18th at the “Shine on the Sierra” Luminary Walk for Cancer Awareness (Bishop High School track) Registration is from 6:15-7:00, walk is from 7:00-7:45 followed by “Closing Ceremonies”. Donations will go to ESCA & LLS.

“Shine On The Sierra Luminary Walk”

Bishop Unified School District will hold the closing ceremonies for their “Students Supporting Cancer Awareness” drive on the evening of Friday, March 18th.

This event “Shine on the Sierra” will be a luminary walk around the Bishop High School track. Registration begins at 6:15 pm where you may pick up your luminary bag for a $5 (or more) donation.

You may walk in honor of someone, in memory of someone, or just to show your support. The walk will take place from 7:00- 7:45 pm.

Closing ceremonies will take place from 7:45-8:00pm where you will hear the results from the highest collectors of BUSD. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Leukemia Lymphoma Society AND our local Eastern Sierra Cancer Alliance.

Everyone is welcome – it’s an all age, family and stroller friendly event. Enjoy Music, Indian Taco’s, Face Painting, Looney Bean drinks and lots of fun! Let’s come together as a community of giving & caring people to make this an evening to remember.
