Lorraine “Lori” Sue Tatum was born June 15, 1955 in Upland, CA to Dale and Beverly Stretton. She lived in the Upland area until she was 12 years old, then moved with her family to Victorville, CA. Lori graduated from Victor Valley High School in 1973, while in school, she enjoyed song leading and was crowned Football Homecoming Princess.
Soon after graduating from high school, Lori married, and her first marriage brought her to Bishop, CA, where she worked as a phlebotomist at Northern Inyo Hospital. She also worked at ConTel, eventually retiring. Bishop would become her forever home. On August 22, 1987 Lori married Todd Tatum and moved to the little ranch house on the highway. There she devoted her time supporting the family ranching business. She enjoyed ranch life, preparing food for the cowboys, tending to the chickens and caring for the animals.
Lori also loved decorating her home, gardening, cooking and canning, but most of all, she loved her cats. Lori was blessed with a warm and genuine spirit. She loved her family and friends and was deeply loved in return. Lori’s wish was for her friends and family to plant a Morning Glory in her memory.
