The Lone Pine Lady Eagles had another amazing game against the Vasquez Mustangs yesterday.
Lone Pine ended up winning a 4-3 nail biter.
Madison Reiser once again threw a complete game with 18 strikeouts. She also led the team at the plate with a ball hit of the center field fence scoring Mariella Nava. After Madison’s powerful hit, she stole third and ended up scoring on a wild throw. Her instincts on the base path is what really impressed me.
Djenna Garnotel made two clutch catches in center field and one of them was to end the game.
Juanita Joseph and Betzy Alvarado also had a good game at the plate with their one two punch at the beginning of the lineup.
A special shout-out to Mariella Nava who has caught every single inning of the season so far and is also calling all of the pitches Madison throws.
The Lone Pine Lady Eagles are now 4-0 and thanks to a large part to Madison Reiser and her outstanding pitching.–Coach Joey Kinberg
