Lone Pine Irrigated Pasture Lease

Notice is hereby given that, proposals in response to the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Lone Pine Irrigated Pasture Lease will be accepted until the submission deadline of 4:00 p.m. on May 11, 2022.
This invitation to submit a proposal is for leasing land, owned by the City of Los Angeles and under the control of the LADWP, located in west Lone Pine along Whitney Portal Road. All proposals must be clearly marked “Lone Pine Irrigated Pasture Lease RFP” and can be submitted either by email or mail.

I wonder – does the lessee HAVE to use the lease to raise methane-producing cows?
Or can the pasture be used for other animals to hang out in without fear of being turned into hamburgers?
