RECREATION UPDATE
We extend a sincere thank you to everyone who has cooperated with area closures this past spring and ask for your continued caution through the summer months.
Even though many of the creeks and streams have passed their peak flows, water will continue to flow fast into late summer. We remind folks to still avoid recreation next to swift-moving waterways. LADWP personnel plans to actively work through September, managing the high flows and sediment build-up in the waterways from this year’s extremely wet year.
This will be the last biweekly recreation update. Future updates will be sent as needed. Please continue to recreate responsibly!

Thanks for your concern for public safety, but please please stop splitting infinities. Literacy matters. Personnel can continue to work actively without sounding like middle school drop outs.
What hell is a split infinity????
Ahem..did you mean infinitives???
Yup thanks.
How bizarre Alice, please deconstruct and comment on the press release so we know where their English/grammar has gone bad!
