2023 LADWP Boat Ispections Crowley Lake

LADWP Encourages Early Crowley Lake Boat Inspections

MONO COUNTY (MAY 10, 2023) — LADWP is asking boaters to beat the rush at the gate and have their boat inspected, tagged, and ready for fishing before the weekend.

LADWP boat Inspections are being performed at the Crowley Lake Fish Camp entrance gate starting today, Wednesday, May 10, during normal Fish Camp Operation hours.

LADWP will also be performing boat inspections on Friday, May 12 from 2 to 8 PM at its Bishop Admin Office parking lot (300 Mandich Street, Bishop CA 93514).

All boats entering Crowley Lake will be inspected to keep waterways safe from the spread of invasive quagga mussels. Boats showing signs of contamination or found to contain any water or debris that could harbor mussels will not be allowed to launch into Crowley Lake. Boats that have tags from last season do not need to be re-inspected as long as the original tag has not been broken or tampered with.

Please check for updates at www.Crowleylakefishcamp.com regarding any changes for the fishing and boating conditions this year related to the management of the historic snowpack.
