Kiley Calls Out Pan’s Silence on Israel
Washington D.C. (July 15, 2026) – The U.S. House of Representatives voted against terminating all U.S. military support to Israel today when it turned back an amendment by Rep. Massie (R-KY) that sought to end support in the annual appropriation bill for National Security and the Department of State. The vote was 314 against cutting off aid and 104 in favor. Rep. Kiley (I-CA) voted against the Massie amendment while democrats were almost evenly split, with 103 voting to cut off aid while 93 voted for continuing support for Israel.
“I believe America has an obligation to support our only democratically elected ally in the Middle East,” said Kiley. “Aid to Israel supports our national interests, advances democrat values and under normal circumstances would never be a partisan issue.”
“Voters have a right to know where their elected officials stand on this and other important issues, but unfortunately, my opponent, Richard Pan, is completely silent on the issue.,” said Kiley.
“This is just one more example of Pan hiding from voters,” noted Kiley. “He ducks debates, avoids issues and hopes that voters won’t notice. Pan needs to come clean and tell voters where he stands, said Kiley, who noted that “debates would be a great place to start.”
Kiley has previously challenged Pan to a series of debates across their newly created district and Pan has so-far refused.
