Joshua Nicholson, the manager of our Juniors All-Star Team for Bishop would like to honor these athletes’ dedication and hard work as they go into their tournament this weekend. I hope the community can come support these young men in their passion for baseball and their team. They will be playing all their games on Field 4 at the Bishop City Park. We want to thank all the parents for their support, the parks and rec at the City of Bishop, all the volunteers to make this happen, and the teams traveling here for this tournament. For many of these players, this is their last Little League All-Star tournament as they move into high school sports.

Just FYI for the public, our game got changed to 430pm to avoid any darkness delays. Thank you all.
Congratulations to the kids. Glad it is posted on this site as there is nothing in our worthless Inyo register to let people know. Our local paper fails to cover youth sports, such a shame.
I never thought about it, but your comment is quite accurate. Most small town newspapers focus heavily on local youth/school sports, game recaps, statistics, usually some kind of athlete of the week, and of course loads of pictures…I mean it makes sense if you want locals to actually subscribe. Ours, not so much.
It is in today’s paper. I sent it to all our local media. Digital outlets can put it out a little quicker. I am thankful to all the media outlets for jumping on it so fast and letting our community know about these ball players and their tournament. Come watch our Bishop All-Stars play Friday, July 8th at 530 at Field 4.
Great news. Glad they were able to include the kids
Good luck guys…Kicks some Butt!
Uummm, there are some girls on that team…and real girls!!! Play like a girl, ladies!! ?
The article says “young men”
The article written by the coach himself says “I hope the community can come support these YOUNG MEN in their passion for baseball…”
