Statement from Jeff Hollowell

After 30 years with the Inyo County Sheriff’s Office, I am happy to announce that I intend to seek the office of Sheriff. I started for the Sheriff’s Office in 1987 and have moved through the ranks to my current position of Undersheriff.

I have knowledge and experience with budgets, personnel issues and the challenges facing the County and State.

I was born and raised in Bishop. I served in the United States Army and I am proud to say I am currently the appointed Veteran’s Service Officer for Inyo and Mono Counties. I am married and have four grown children. I hold all Peace Officer Standards and Training certificates up to and including a Management Certificate.

I look forward to the challenges facing law enforcement across the State. I hope you support me in my endeavor to be Sheriff of this great County.
