PLEASE JOIN the Inyo County Planning Department will be holding a public workshop for the 2021 General Plan Housing Element update to provide information, answer questions and take comments and suggestions.

Counties in California are required to have General Plans to guide land use and development. These General Plans must have seven Elements within them, and a Housing Element is one of them. The Housing Element in Inyo County has to be updated every eight-years. The last update was in 2014.

The Workshop will be held at the March Planning Commission meeting: Wednesday March 24th, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC: In order to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Governor Newsom has issued Executive Orders that temporarily suspend certain requirements of the Brown Act. Please be advised that the Planning Commission will be conducting its hearing exclusively via videoconference by which Planning Commission Members and staff will be participating.
