​Inyo CAO Announces Resignation

​Inyo County Administrative Officer David Fraser has announced his resignation effective September 11. Fraser was appointed by the Board of Supervisors on an interim basis in February to lead the organization through a transitional period. He said he will be using the intervening weeks to wrap up a few projects and finish the budget process for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.

​Board Chairperson Trina Orrill, on behalf of her colleagues, thanked Fraser for his leadership and guidance over the past several months.

​The Board plans to continue its search for a permanent CAO.
