Obituary for Charlotte A. Paris | 1947–2021

Charlotte was born February 19, 1947 in Evanston, IL. She was the oldest of six children, and lived with her family in numerous locations in the U.S. She attended high school in Rifle, Colorado, attended Moody Bible Institute, and graduated from John Brown University with a B. A. in Music.  Following college, she served one year as a missionary in Taipei, Taiwan. After returning to the States, she taught in elementary school in Dublin, CA. During that time, at age 27, she suffered a stroke caused by an aneurysm bleed.

She lived with family in Portland, OR and Bishop, CA, most recently residing at Bishop Care Center. She was an enthusiastic member of Rick Frey’s exercise group. She worked for several years greeting customers and filing greeting cards at the Cornerstone Bookstore. During her time at Sterling Heights, and at Bishop Care, she came to know many wonderful caregivers.

Charlotte was known by all as someone who loved people, and loved Jesus. Her goal in life was to pray for those who came into her life, that they might experience God’s love.

She is survived by her mother Dorothea Paris; siblings Bill Paris, Helen Paris, John Paris, Mary Matlick, and Elizabeth Rossberg.
