Another amazing story from Eastern Sierra Wildlife Care. Someone found a Golden Eagle north of Bridgeport. The injured bird made it to the wildlife care center south of Bishop at Keough’s.

Alexander Reid videotaped the big bird as wildlife care volunteers worked to help it. Cindy Kamler worked with the eagle to place a hood on its head to help quiet it down and make it more safe while they worked on the bird’s broken wing.

Kamler gave the eagle fluids and wrapped it up in preparation for a transfer. Cindy placed the large eagle in a transport cage. The golden eagle was later transferred to the Ojai Raptor Rehab Center.
