WHAT: 17th Annual Country Western Dance & BBQ sponsored by the Southern Mono Historical Society. Dig out your cowboy boots and come kick up your heels at this fun family event! Join us for our annual fundraiser to help preserve Mammoth Lakes’ history!

WHERE: Hayden Cabin/Mammoth Museum, 5489 Sherwin Creek Road, Mammoth Lakes

WHEN: Saturday, June 27, 2015

TIME: 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

COST: No host bar & BBQ; Tri-tip, chicken, hot dogs, corn-on-the-cob along with all the fixin’s plus dessert. Adults $20, school age kids $6 (under 5 are free with paid adult).

FEATURING: Live band: Derik Olson & Friends with special guest Fiddlin’ Pete. Free music, free line dancing and lessons. Donations and memberships appreciated.

When people come to the Sierras’,if they choose Mammoth it’s to ski during the day and raise hell at night in the “village”….if a family chooses to relax,enjoy the scenery,camp,fish and actually vacation,speaking for myself when I was younger and living down south,I chose Lee Vining and Bridgeport…much quieter and… Read more »

The town spends millions of dollars every year to entice people to come to Mammoth. Then when they get here — there’s nothing here.

Spend the money that is spent to get people here on stuff that makes being here better.
