Friends of Lone Pine Airport News

We have completed the final stage of our restoration project!

After two years of fundraising and the dedicated labor of amazing volunteers, the Terminal Building at the Lone Pine Death Valley Airport has been renovated inside and out by Friends of the Lone Pine Airport. Come and join us to see the upgrade of this precious gem in Lone Pine, CA. Many thanks to all of your contributions that have made this possible, along with Inyo County and RAF grants.

We will have information about our new Youth and Aviation Program that is in the works, meet the Board of Directors and come meet new people.

If you have any historical photos of the Lone Pine Airport or stories to tell, please bring them as we are starting and oral history and image collection about the airport and local pilots. We will photograph them and you can take them back home.
