Annual Museum Barbeque Features Friends, Food, Music and Fun

The Friends of the Eastern California Museum will host its annual deep-pit beef barbeque and party on Saturday, May 6, starting at 4 p.m., at the museum in Independence.

The public is cordially invited to enjoy the afternoon of good food, in the form of deep-pit beef, beans, salads and drinks (a vegetarian meal is available), good music provided by Sandy and the High Country, and historic family fun. The cost is $15 for adults and $10 for youngsters and seniors.

The annual FECM Fundraiser will be held at the Eastern California Museum, 155 N. Grant St., in Independence. For more information, call 760-878-0258.
