REST IN PEACE

Frank Vargas, lon- time Bishop resident, passed April 1st, at the age of 70 years old.  Frank was born in Santa Rita, New Mexico on Dec 25th, 1950 to Joe D. Vargas and Victoria Vargas.

Frank is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Esparza, Son-in-law Andres (Chato) Esparza, Granddaughter-Asuzena Esparza, Grandson – Andrew Esparza and two Great Grandsons-Raymond and Xavier Stone.  Siblings- Ricardo Sandoval, Sam and his wife Susie Vargas, Reuben and his wife Kay Vargas, Mary Kirby, Mae Vargas, Anita and her husband Steve Johnson.  Numerous Nephews, Nieces and many friends.

For those who knew Frank, he could be seen on his bike and always had a smile on his face, and no one was a stranger. He looked at everyone as a friend.

He will be missed dearly, and we cherished the time he was with us.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 at East Line Street Cemetery in Bishop.
