Gus Klekas,legendary former basketball coach at Bishop Union High School, died early Wednesday morningin Utah. He was 81.

Klekasguided theBishop Bronco boys basketball team to 12 straight league titles in the 1970s and 1980s. Thegymnasium at Bishop High is named after him.

Alocal memorial service has been scheduled for Wedneday, April 1 at 7 p.m. at the Gus Klekas Gym.
