Bishop, CA Salvation Army Bomb Threat Update August 1, 2026 5:20 PM Spoke with Chief Derr and Dominic Jahn of the Bishop PD. EOD team arrived, no hazards found. Roads opening shortly. Small area will remain closed to process evidence but poses no threat to the community. Thank you to everyone who helped today.

A 23-year-old Bishop resident, Jonathan Kelley, has been taken into custody and is facing pending charges related to today’s incident.
