One dead and one seriously injured after a bad motorcycle accident Monday. CHP Officers report that just after 6:30 Monday evening, 53 year old Irvine resident Mark Alan Wright was driving his 2006 Harley Davidson northbound on 395 near Coso Junction.
Wright had a female passenger riding with him, when for unknown reasons the driver lost control of the motorcycle and skidded onto its side. Wright died on scene, Officers report, while the female passenger suffered major head trauma, broken bones, and injuries to her lungs. Olancha Fire Volunteers drove the woman to Pearsonville where she was flown out to Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield. The female passenger was later identified as 42 year old Debra Robinson of Rancho Santa Margarita. She remained in critical condition.
