Farmers Market in Independence Friday
The next Southern Inyo Certified Farmers Market will take place on Friday June 27 at the Owens Valley Growers Cooperative in Independence between 4 and 7 pm, on the corner of Edwards St. (Route 395) and Kearsarge. This week’s market will feature tomatoes, chard, summer squash, seasonal greens, beets, carrots, onions, garlic, leeks, eggs, herbs, apricots, blackberries, arts and crafts, and baked goods. Bishop Farmers’ Market – Saturday, June 28, 2014, 9:00 – 11:00 am. Offerings include seasonal fruits and vegetables, flowers, herbs, and eggs. Adjacent to the market will be other vendors, the music of the Sierra Sirens, and a coffee bar. For additional information contact Sue at (760) 937-6768.
