Farmers’ Markets going strong in Mammoth, Bishop

There are two Eastern Sierra Certified Farmers’ Market locations – Bishop Farmers’ Market is open Saturday’s June through October – 9:00 a.m. to noon and is located westerly of Hwy 395 on Church Street, directly behind City Hall. Mammoth Lakes Skip’s Outdoor Market is open Wednesday’s from July 1 through August/September – 4-7 p.m. and is located on Hwy 203 at the Mammoth Luxury Outlet Mall.

There are many return farmers and vendors to both Markets as well as some new additions. Seasonal items to be offered are apricots, peaches, nectarines, berries, carrots, kale, beets, chard, lettuce, radishes, kohlrabi, cabbage, garlic, onions, leeks, broccoli, Japanese summer turnips, lavender, chicken eggs, flowers, herbs, etc. As the season progresses, tomatoes, potatoes, zucchini, eggplant, peppers, corn, apples, melons, duck eggs, and more will be added to the markets offerings.

New elements for the Bishop Farmers’ Market include baked goods, health and wellness products, and a drawing for a basket of produce and other goodies donated by the farmers and others in appreciation of the communities support.

Hello Evening Market.
You could go to the Local Farmers Market at the Bishop Paiute Community Market located at the Paiute Shoshone Cultural Center 2300 W. Line St.
Every Friday through Oct. 5:30pm to 8pm.
Check it out. Local growers, artists and food vendors!!!
