On Tuesday the Broncos hosted Washington Union for the first CIF playoff match. The Broncos fought hard but fell to the Panthers in four sets: 26-28, 26-24, 22-25, 22-25.

The Broncos played great defense against some strong outsider hitters provided by Washington Union. At the net, Elizabeth Ellsworth put up six blocks and Riley Van Nest put up four blocks. In the back row, Scout Flynn dug up 15 attacks and Sophie Dishion brought up 14 digs from some of the strongest swings they’ve seen all season.

On offense, Delaney Kalk provided 11 kills while Meghenna Westervelt and Riley Van Nest set up for 20 combined assists.

While this marks the end of the 2024 Bronco Volleyball season, the coaching staff is very happy with the way the team battled and rose to the competition. Great job Broncos!
