FRI OCT 06 2023 – WEEKEND REPORT

Ok you can expect pleasant Fall weather thru the weekend, the way it’s supposed to be. The large hemispheric ridge axis currently to our North, moves into the Western US. High temps then will warm 2+ degrees above normal over the weekend in Bishop. Yes it will be a “Go Do It” outdoor weekend for sure! Now about Tuesday, low pressure dropping down from PNW, then driving inland over NORCAL and Northern NV, will bring gusty winds and a slight cooldown to our Forecast Area. Right now, most precipitation chances look to stay North of Yosemite NP. But I can’t rule out a shower or two in Mammoth…DMATT
