Over the weekend nice weather, with 86° in Bishop and 68° in Mammoth Sunday. Along with that shower and t’storm potential (20%) continued along the Crest and in Mammoth. Going into late next week, we flip-flop, with fall-like conditions, as a strong cold front drops into the Great Basin. Gusty winds will accompany this front along with scattered showers Thursday / Friday. Snow levels could drop as low as 8,000 – 8,500 feet in Mammoth. Also by Friday highs in Bishop look like only 74° and Mammoth 54°. So cooler and wetter looks likely, just in time for Autumnal Equinox at 11:50 pm Friday…DMATT
