A warm, weak Pacific storm will bring periods of showers and high elevation snow to our area today. So very light snow to Mammoth (1 – 2 inch Main Lodge and 3 inches to the Summit), with a slight chance of showers to the Owens Valley. By Wednesday PM most of the storm should be behind us. After that a ridge will redevelop over the Western US thru the end of the work week. Looking down the road, my confidence is increasing that the Pacific Jet will extend farther South and bring the next potential storm cycle to our area Friday night the weekend. It should be a warm storm series, with snow levels 7K – 8K feet. So stay tuned on this…DMATT
